Malacca..(2)

Back to Malacca again! :D
after gaining more knowledge on coffee,

we went to the shop next street to get some snacks to bring back home.

freshly baked pineapple tarts..

after trying the samples,

feiling and jazz agreed that chuan loong's mom's recipe is way nicer. ;)

Therefore, we didn't buy the pineapple tarts.

they prefer bakin it themselves haha.
Anyways,

we bought some chilly sauce which according to SS is very nice wo..
i like this picture.
with the sepia mode, making it so nostalgic.
one coconut shop we saw while walkin.

Next,

Tan Kim Hock Product Centre.

bought lotsa snacks too! :D

while waitin for our food... :P

4pm! haha.
we are eating alot, aren't we?
firstly, the chicken rice,
secondly the cendol plus asam laksa.
thirdly i forgot to mention.
it's a restaurant selling desserts like birdnest and guai ling gou..
and now....

Sate!!

the whole restaurant selling only sate.

they serve both pork and chicken satay.

and also those inner organs satays like intestines.. yer.

dont eat too much of all these le all of u.
not good for health!

ketupat.

this satay sauce is so damn delicious ok.

sweet& a lil sour +spicy.

know why?

the nuts were blended with the pineapple! so special right?!!

i ate only 4-5 sticks of satay,

but i drank 4-5 bowls of the sauce......

OOoopps.... haha... :P

damn nice la ok :P

happily eatin the satays... :D

Next,

A Famosa and St Paul Hill! :D

then while walkin,

we saw someone sellin kites!!

then i suddenly felt like playin it so much!

haha.

so me and my sis bought two. :P

'eh.. help me! its falling!! how to make it fly!!'

'learn from me ma.! see my kites flyin so high like a bird! haha '

all of us suddenly turn into kids and started flying kites! :D

it was really fun!!

Actually,

without proper tour guide,

i'm not too sure which part considered the A famosa, and the St Paul Hill. haha.

just keep taking pictures..

but undeniably, i like these old buildings!

no, i don't know her.

she wasn't posing for the camera either.

but it like this pic. ;)

and these are the tombstones i supposed. haha.

Wait. Let me check the web k!

ok, i did not take a nice pic of this building. failed haha.

was using only a camera phone, so the entire building can't be captured nicely.

Therefore i am takin it from web lor.

(source: www.melaka.net/mustvisit.com)

"On top of St. Paul's Hill is the St. Paul's Church, once the prayer house of the Portuguese Catholics, then turned into burial ground for their noble dead by the Dutch. The tombstones have Latin and Portuguese inscriptions on them. St. Francis Xavier was buried here in 1553 before his body was moved to Goa in India."

OOooh Ohh.. Ookay.... haha. :P

tombstones..ok i'm right.. haha

can't seem to take the whole building down.

So i'm taking them down pieces by pieces. haha.

did i mention i like this building alot? haha.

took a picture here with me and 3 others inside but in Eddy's camera lor.
haven't got those pics from him!

i told eddy i wanna take a very nice pic of him with the aeroplane.

so bad hor. blek.

another side of those walls.. haha.

i like i like i like!

one corner of the building from the outside.

as u follow the left lane in this picture,
u would be able to catch someone drawing there.

There, this uncle.
someone special we met there.
" After the Portuguese captured Melaka, they built a fortress to defend themselves. The fortress, called A'Famosa suffered severe destruction during the Dutch invasion. What's left today is just the entrance walls, still well preserved till today."

(source: www.melaka.net/mustvisit.com )

oh oh, i see... haha
don't remember how i got A for my history in PMR. haha.
if there was Sejarah in SPM, i got A2 also. wahaha. was there? i forgot. oh no...

Anyways..

after having so much fun at A famosa and St. Paul Hill,

we went to the shopping mall next to A. Famosa.

the Pahlawan Square!

then everyone spreaded out and decided to rest for an hour till 730pm

while shopping there.

and getting most out of its air conditioners. haha.

so hot outside ok.

we were all sweaty and sticky..

ok enough said. haha

then me and my san jie with two other friends decided to walk together.

didn't have the mood to shop there.

something caught my attention!

look!!

so nice hor!! we began to take pictures instead of shopping then.. hahaa
Eventhough Christmas is over,
they still have all these beautiful decorations.
so glad!

i was acting cold.

i hate Ss for not co-operating.

and us trying to be small kids again.

i'm just glad that i did not damage the car. haha

then later on,

we went to have our dinner!

SATE CELUP!! or is it celuk? haha whatever it is la.

have u tried this sate celup thing??

it's actually something like lok lok like what we have it here in KL..

but here, the soup to boil the food is replaced by the sate kacang sauce!

so slow one.

satay sauce, satay sauce,

when are u boiling?? :P

ok now!!

start eating!! :D

u know how many sticks we ate??

244.

haha geng or not.

14 of us if i am not mistaken.

it was already 930pm,

actually we planned to go jonker street.

but afraid it was too late.

and there were some Cinderellaass among our friends. haha.

so, we went back straight after eating lo.

went back to vincent house.

and celebrated chow liang's 21st birthday!

chocolate banana from secret recipe.

everyone's stomach were so full that all of us shared only two slices,

whereas another 2 were given to vincent's parents.

Happy birthday my dearest Chowliang.

hope u enjoy la.

be good and keep in touch.

after the mini mini super mini celebration, ( just singing song and cutting cake)

all of us headed home.

yeah.

this malacca trip was pretty fun.

tiring cuz it's only a one day trip.

but overall it's worthwhile. ;)

malacca

Went to Malacca with friends/sis's friends.
sometimes it's very confusing as i'm not sure whether they are really my friends or just my sis's friends,

or am i really their friend or i'm just their friend's sister.
ok. stop confusing u.
There,
we landed at the beautiful place, malacca.
so full of historical scent.

i like it.

look at these really old buildings!
oh, i put them in sepia mode while snapping,
cuz more "feel" ma.
something we can always see on the road there..

Our First Station,
Chicken Riceball Restaurant! :D

12pm.

the chicken rice balls!
i ate 4 lor. ok ok only. i preferred normal chicken rice than this.
what about u?
chicken.

alot of ppl queue-ing up out there wo.
and we did too ourselves before coming in.
just wondering, is it that nice ah???
i think my mom can cook better chicken rice le.

' this way everyone, this way~ :)'

There, our two handsome land pilots for the day! :D

rm40 per hour wo. siao hor.

saw this restaurant, so crowded wo.
nice ahhhh.

most of the shops there sell hand-crafts or antiques.

some statue i saw on the jonker street that caught my attention.
for sale wo.

'eh, can we stop here pls.. looks nice! like alot of ppl.'

(actually it's because we have walked too long and too far, very tiring liao hehe! :P)

we have Patience for our Yummy Cendols! :D
walao.
finally reached the place liao.
after very very long journey under super hot sun. haha
quite alot of antiques here as decorations.
one of them is the lantern lor.

while ordering for cendols, hy and jas took out the gun they bought just now.
rubber band gun.

and started playing.....

(can i lie to u that they are only 12 but not 21....)

oh our cendols are finally here!

different flavours.
one with sea coconut, the best.
others with durian, sago, or just original with gula melaka.

i dont know why,

but i suddenly had the strong urge to have asam laksa in malacca.

i know i'm like abit very out.

'hey go penang eat la stupid.. melaka here where got famous of asam laksa one'

ok, seriously, this asam laksa tasted below average lor.
