Corpse

my yoga sir went to UK for two weeks.

hence, we have no classes for 2 weeks.

that's pretty sad as Yoga is my only exercise, and i only do it during his teaching..

Oops.

teach u a very simple pose la while my yoga sir not around :P

Corpse Pose everyone :P

Savasana, in Sunskrit.

...Here we go! :D

1. Lie down comfortably on your bed or a yoga mat if u have one.

2.spread your arms at both side of your body and legs slightly apart.
remember, palms facing upwards.

3. And, close your eyes.

4. Relax every part of your body.

5. inhale slowly but deeply.

6. and when u exhale,

tell to yourself that "i....m.....re....l..a..x...."

7. just keep breathing slowly but deeply, and allow your body and mind into deep relaxation.

8. 5-20 minutes later (suit your personal limit)
come out of the corpse pose slowly by wiggling your toes and fingers.

just gently shake every part of your body from bottom to top.

and then turn to your left,
and slowly sit up when u're ready. ;)

alright Done~! :D

and this is how corpse pose looks like! ;)

(got this pic from sugarfit)

well,

just some additional information from the internet that i thought might be useful. ;)

-Yogawiz-

The goal of this asana is to let go of everything as if you were dead.

Through conscious relaxation and awareness,

it makes you sensitive to the tension in your mind and body and release.

It is considered by some, the most important yogasana.

And even though it appears extraordinarily simple, once you actually get into it you’ll come to realize how easy or difficult it actually is.

Some students have trouble maintaining the pose for more than a few minutes.
While some get irritated within the first few seconds of lying still.
Then there are others who just sink into it right from day one.
